What "Rust RTX 4080 setup" means here

A RTX 4080 setup install for Rust still needs the game itself. Swapper never ships games, only the neural route plus verified backups.

Rust is survival. Route API: Ada / Feeder. Swapper runs on Windows. Restore originals reverses the install. Single-player only for injected routes.

4K Ada recipe with stabiliser enabled. Updated component set: DLSS 310.9.1, Feeder 1.17.0, RenoDX 6.5.3, OptiScaler 0.8.92, ReShade 6.8.0, dgVoodoo2 2.87.5.

Install, tune, restore

1 Open Rust in Swapper.
2 Install the RTX 4080 setup route.
3 Launch borderless and press F8 where supported.
4 Keep the backup; restore before patches, backend switches or online play.

FAQ

Can Swapper do RTX 4080 setup in Rust?

Yes. 4K Ada recipe with stabiliser enabled. Install the route, test borderless, tune F8 where supported, and keep the backup.

Do I need native DLSS in Rust?

No. Native builds upgrade in place; otherwise the Feeder route supplies neural inputs.

How do I undo everything?

Select the game and click Restore originals. Uninstalling the app alone does not touch game folders.

What does the F8 overlay do?

It opens Swapper's own panel over 64-bit DX11/DX12 Feeder and RenoDX games so you can move Style, Intensity, Structure, Skin and stabiliser sliders live.
